1. Agreement, Incorporated Policies & Platform Entity
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Kaushift ("we", "us", "Platform"). Kaushift is operated by an individual operator based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. By accessing or using Kaushift, you agree to comply with these terms. You must be at least 14 years old to create an account or use Kaushift.
Our Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Content & Takedown Policy, Sponsored Content Policy, AI Disclaimer, and Grievance Officer Details are expressly incorporated into and form part of these Terms of Service. Kaushift reserves the right to edit or remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate any of these terms or incorporated policies.
2. What Kaushift Is
Kaushift is an open community platform where founders share startup stories, autopsies, post-mortems, active business struggles, and operational playbooks. Content is user-generated. Kaushift does not verify claims and does NOT provide legal, financial, tax, investment, or formal business advice.
3. User Content, Ownership & AI Processing
You retain ownership of the text and autopsies you submit. By posting on Kaushift, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to host, store, display, reformat, distribute your content on the platform, and process public text through AI models to generate aggregated, anonymized insights.
4. Prohibited Conduct & Confidentiality
Do not share confidential corporate information, trade secrets, or material protected by Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). Do not allege crimes, fraud, or intentional wrongdoing by named individuals or specific companies; stick to first-person facts you can back up with personal experience or documentation. Doxxing, harassment, impersonation, or uploading malicious code will result in immediate account termination. Ghost Mode pseudonyms shield identity publicly, but account metadata is logged to prevent unlawful acts.
5. Governing Law & Exclusive Jurisdiction
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to your use of Kaushift are governed by the laws of India. Competent courts located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all legal claims and disputes hereunder.
6. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Indian laws, the total aggregate liability of the individual operator of Kaushift for any claims shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Kaushift in the preceding 12 months, or ₹1,000 INR, whichever is lower. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operator from any third-party claims arising from your user content or violation of these terms.
